Dr. Gupta is the founder of G2Endo. She received her Bachelors of Arts and Science degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and went on to attend University College Cork School of Medicine in Cork, Ireland. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine, and fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She holds a specialty certification (ECNU) in head and neck ultrasound and has been a Certified Clinical Densitomitrist (CCD) with the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE). Additionally, she completed a certificate in Media & Medicine at Harvard Medical School and is the first American to be awarded Fellow of the Indian Thyroid Society (FITS).
She has served on multiple hospital committees, including the Board of Governors at St. Francis Hospital. She holds several honors and publications and is an international speaker and writer for different endocrine topics. She is the current Chair of the Thyroid Disease State Network for AACE.
She additionally speaks for Horizon (Tepezza), IBSA (Tirosint), Chiesi (Mycapssa), Ascendis (Yorvipath), and is a Creative Consultant for Abbvie (Synthroid.)
She grew up in Memphis and is a proud graduate of St. Mary's Episcopal School. She has two children. She has multiple hobbies outside of endocrinology, including culinary arts, textile arts, visual arts, martial arts, and creative writing. Her artwork is on display in Memphis, and she is the 2022 AACE recipient of the National Award in Excellence in the Humanities in Endocrinology. She has served a faculty speaker for the ATA, Endocrine Society, AACE, and Indian Thyroid Society, and she is an original member of NASIT.
